The Four-Part System
- Cap: the visible decorative part.
- Socket: the female connection.
- Stud (male): the engaging part.
- Post: the base that fixes to the fabric.
Production and Assembly
Each part is pressed in its own die, coated, and fixed to the fabric on the assembly press. If the closing force is too tight it will not open; too loose and it opens by itself.
